St. Joseph's Hospital of Endocrinology is pleased to announce the addition of two new physicians to its medical staff. Massachusetts has introduced a new resource that residents can use to assess symptoms and find the right care within minutes. Dr. Mollov, a board member - certified endocrinologist with more than 30 years of experience, has recently entered the practice. He was educated at Georgetown University and the University of Pennsylvania and is the only physician in Massachusetts with a bachelor's degree in medicine and a PhD in pediatrics.
He has performed more than 5,000 thyroid biopsies and has been a course leader for more than a decade. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the American College of Endocrinology and an associate professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Boston. He has also served as an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He completed his training in orthopedic surgery at Loyola University in Chicago and then completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Medical School. He then held a teaching position at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and is currently an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Children's Hospital and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. She spent her time in internal medicine in Mount Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she taught at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr Mollov retired from obstetrics last year but still sees patients in her practice for their gynaecological needs.
If you think you will be seen in person, call your doctor at 1-866-762-4357 for an appointment. If you or a family member have an appointment that can wait, you can consider retraining if your office has many sick days off that day to reduce the transmission of COVID-19. Your office can contact you before you book your appointment to discuss your options, but we recommend you keep your visit on schedule. Our office separates sick and better visits by place and time and we will contact you to make an appointment with your doctor.
